Class Information
Private Childbirth education classes are now available. The next series will be offered (at a significant savings!) for $100. This price includes the childbirth education series taught at your home, mine or another agreed upon location for a total of 8 hours. The schedule is flexible depending on your needs as well as mine. I can teach on weekends, evenings or during weekdays when I have childcare arranged. This special price is only available until I have completed certification.The series will contain information on:

My doula services
First, contact me for a free, no obligation interview. If, after the interview, you decide that you would like my services for your birth, then we can schedule your first prenatal visit. You can have 2-3 prenatal visits with me to go over your birth plans and what else you'd like to help facilitate a satisfying birth experience for you. I can help you create a birth plan and point you in the direction of information you desire. My lending library of books is available to clients.Once your labor begins, you notify me and I get going so that I can make it to you in an hour. I attend your birth, providing you with emotional and physical support during labor and delivery. I stay for an hour after the birth (or longer, if needed) to give any breastfeeding support and to make sure that you are comfortable. I will also visit you once postpartum to discuss the birth, if you'd like, and to check on how breastfeeding is going, if you are breastfeeding.
As soon as I receive the first deposit and a contract is signed, I will be available to you for email support 24/7 and phone support between 8AM-7PM. I go on call for you two weeks before and two weeks after your EDD, and during that time I expect to be called anytime 24/7 if you are in labor.
My doula service fee will be $300 for the next client whose birth I attend, and currently I have space for women due January 2008 or later.
